Analysis of the Features of the Structural Sensitivity of the Parameters of the Minor Loops of Magnetic Hysteresis of Steels

It is shown that the “specific” changes in the coercive force Нc and the residual magnetization Mr on the minor loops of the magnetic hysteresis of steels, which occur during the structural changes in steels, are completely determined by the changes in the magnetic parameters of the saturation hysteresis loop: the coercive force Нcs and the remanent magnetization Mrs, and the saturation magnetization Mrs. The formulas for calculating Нc and Mr from Нcs, Mrs, Ms and the maximum magnetic field Нm of a minor loop of the magnetic hysteresis are given. Examples of analysis using these formulas for the variation of Нc and Mr of steels during thermal treatments are given. The developed recommendations for the effective use of Нc and Mr in the magnetic structuroscopy of steels are reported.
